Hi! I’m Kayla, a wife and mom to two kids — a daughter in elementary school and a son in preschool. I also run my own children’s book business, combining my love of literacy with helping families discover books that inspire and spark a love of reading.

I joined Kindred 1 year ago after seeing a Facebook post. At the time, I was feeling very alone as a mom raising a child with special needs and wanted a community that truly understood the daily challenges our family faces — a place where I could feel supported, encouraged, and free from judgment. Kindred has been an incredible blessing.

The moms I’ve met are compassionate, inspiring, and empowering. Every meeting reminds me that I’m not alone and that we can lean on each other, celebrate victories, and navigate challenges together.

Outside of family and Kindred, I love traveling, going to the movies, volunteering, reading, and finding new shows to binge-watch.
